We are playing Langhorne Creek at home this Saturday at 8:30am.
We have six players in a four person team.
Elliott has graciously withdrawn from playing this weekend - international travel, jetlag; you know how it is.
Which leaves five players.
Consensus is that we will play four players each weekend giving two a rest. Unplanned absences and holidays will mix things up during the season as well.
For this weekend I will pull an unlucky name out of a hat to join Elliott on the sidelines.
To ensure fairness, Sara will be my witness as I do it tomorrow evening.
The overriding principle is that each child will play the same number of matches over the season. Same number of home, away, singles and doubles. It won't be perfect but that is the goal.
Thank you to Janet for already providing dates for when James and Nicole will be absent.
When the draw comes out, I will do a proposed schedule of players and distribute for comment.
