School holiday tennis training

Dean will be in Clarendon on Wednesday 04/07 and 11/07.

Ideally we'll have two groups - players from last year and beginners from last year. Cost is dependent on turnout. Last session was $10 per kid for the hour.

Training

Just to clarify, training is on for the next three weeks. Thursdays @ 5:30. Half the trainees will be away this Thursday so better for the others.
Cost per child is $15 for the entire period. I shall collect Thursday if possible - I think only the Hooper, Brooksby and Wickstein parents won't be there.

Thursday trainings

So far we have 5 existing players committed, 1 new player and 1 potential.
So I've asked Dean to continue with us up to and including 1/3.
Steph, Louise, Tracey, Niomi - please let me know before Thursday.

One more session

We have enough cash to pay for one more training session with Dean - Thursday 09/02.
After that we have three more Thursdays left before our last match of the year on 03/03.
Dean charges $60 for the hour.
Please advise if you would like to continue with Dean for those three weeks.
Once I have numbers, I will work out the cost. Minimum cost will be $5 per kid per week based on 12 kids. If we have 6 kids then the cost is $10 per kid per week. And so on.
But it will be a three week committment so all monies upfront.

Please let me know if you want a different arrangement.
It is tricky to balance home/away as well as getting the kids regular matches.
I also have to take into account seedings - the kids must play within one spot of the spot they played last time. eg. Little Johnny can't play position 4 one week and then position 1 next week.

We are still going for victory number one. Against John Wesley on Saturday it finished 3 sets all but they won 30 games to 27. Last time we played them they won 5-1 33-16. We are getting there.

We have a few players away on our first scheduled training day, Thursday 26/01.
I have arranged for Dean to swap to Monday 23/01 at 5:30.
We'll then switch back to Thursday 02/02 for our second session of the new year.

Fees

$50 per player to be paid soonish. Please.
This only applies to the six regulars - Liam, Nicole, Erin, James, Elliott and Georgia.
Start saving, kids.
I'll get the cash from you when I see you.
The $50 covers things like court hire and insurance.

Training schedule

No training this week.

I wrote ages ago that training is tentatively scheduled to resume on January 28/01 but that the public holiday may throw a spanner in the works. We will talk in January.
We have paid enough money to have three more sessions with Dean.
